Recreational Development Academy “RDA” is a soccer program designed to bridge the gap between the Recreational and Competitive programs. The RDA program will give your child that higher level you are looking for with a set schedule and local games, providing the convenience of a recreational program but the competition of competitive soccer.

Is RDA right for my player? 

• RDA 2026 - 2027 is for Boys born between Boys U9-U14 and for Girls U9-U12
• Your player needs to have previous soccer experience and a general understanding of game play and rules. 

RDA features a set schedule throughout the season. RDA will have two training sessions a week and 8-10 games per season. These games will be held on some Friday evenings or Saturdays. Teams will be formed by our professional staff after an evaluation period and players will be divided into smaller teams where games will be played  7v7, 9v9 or 11v11. Teams will get the chance to participate in Sporting Jax and local tournaments (at an additional fee).

There are Four Training Locations to choose from: Veterans Park, Chuck Rogers Park, Earl Johnson Park, and Oakleaf Park.

Recreational Development Academy (RDA) - Overview

• The RDA Program runs through the Fall and Spring and begins in August and ends in May
• RDA Ages for the 2026-27 Season:
• Boys U9 - U14 (AUG 1, 2017 - JULY 31, 2013)
• Girls U9 - U12 (AUG 1, 2017 - JULY 31, 2015)
• The cost of the program will be $995 for the full season at Veterans Park and Chuck Rogers Park, $885 at Earl Johnson Park and $900 in Oakleaf. Payment plans available.
• This does not include the uniform cost. See below
• Uniforms are ordered online and delivered either directly to YOUR HOME or to the WeGotSoccer Jacksonville store.
• Once the teams are finalized, we will send out the uniform number assignments for you to go ahead an order your uniform
• DO NOT order your uniform until we have notified you. This is a NEW uniform cycle, so all players will need to order a uniform for the 2025-2027 uniform cycle.
• Teams will be selected during an evaluation process at the start of training to ensure balanced teams and the most optimal playing experience. Team rosters may be adjusted throughout the season to create a more competitive balance. This is at the discretion of the Program Director
• All RDA players will be registered in a US CLUB SOCCER National affiliation league structure and will be required to provide a valid proof of birth.

Costs

• The cost of the program will be $1,100 for the full season at Veterans Park and Chuck Rogers Park, $975 at Earl Johnson Park and $975 in Oakleaf. Payment plans available.

• If you already have an RDA Uniform from the 2025-26 season, you do NOT have to purchase another one. Additional items are available for purchase.
• Tournament* fees if teams are attending any tournaments that are offered to RDA teams. Tournament prices vary.

Coaches and Training

• All teams in RDA will be coached by one of our professional coaches.
• The professional coach will run all training sessions and coach games.
• Training will be twice a week and location and age group schedules are listed below.

League, Team building and Gameplay

• The RDA League will consist of two 8-10 game seasons in the Fall and Spring
• RDA will be an in-house league composed of Sporting Jax RDA teams and local teams from PVJFC, Jacksonville Futbol Club and Ancient City.
• Games will be played on some Friday evenings or Saturdays.
• Team rosters may be adjusted throughout the season to create a more competitive balance. This is at the discretion of the Program Director.

Tournaments*

• RDA teams may have the opportunity to participate in Sporting Jax competitive tournaments, as well as select local tournaments throughout the year. Please note that additional fees will apply if your child’s team participates in these events. Tournament participation is determined by the Program Director and is also dependent on division availability.
